Chinese porcelain oilspot tongping, a finely formed, slim, sleeve shape vase with a turquoise and pale violet, oilspot glazed exterior … Read more Chinese porcelain oilspot tongping, a finely formed, slim, sleeve shape vase with a turquoise and pale violet, oilspot glazed exterior and inset base and a turquoise glazed throat and interior. The vase is accented with wide striations of pale violet. Two, finely carved and detailed, taotie handles flank the shoulder of the vase. The wide, stepped and crenellated foot has one convex ringlet above it and is decorated with carved, cloud and thunder meanders. A six character, Qianlong, reign mark is glazed to the inset base.
