Elegant pair of vintage porcelain Foo Dogs hand-painted in classic blue and white glaze. Crafted in China for the export market, these lions symbolize strength and protection—perfect for an entryway, mantle, or bookshelf display. Their animated expressions and flowing cobalt manes capture the artistry of mid-20th century Chinese ceramics.
Each figure is individually modeled, with subtle differences that lend charm and authenticity. The underside bears the bilingual “Fabriqué en Chine / Made in China” stamp used in the postwar era.
