This body of the teapot displays a delicate frieze featuring a relief with figures. In addition to these classical figures, the relief features cherubs, cupid and olive trees. The top of the lid is surrounded by a border of acanthus leaves. The spout is surrounded by a band of laurel leaves.

The impressed marks on the bottom of the pot indicate the piece was created in the early 20th century.

A beautiful piece for display. It does appear that the handle has been glued at some point. Priced accordingly. It is sturdy, though. No other cracks or chips.
