There are striations and bubbles in the glass and a heavy lip on the bottom, and a heavy knob on top, that's turning purple, I LOVE it! I'm not sure if this was used to be a display with a doll, or shells, or taxidermy inside, or in bakery to put stacks of croissant under. Or outside in the garden. The possibilities are endless. I love glass that shows it age, it's been around over a hundred years. See less
