A nicely proportioned Georgian walnut writing table or desk with a one-piece green tooled leather writing surface with gilt embossed borders, a single long drawer over two smaller drawers to form a nicely-shaped kneehole, traditional brass bail pulls with Chippendale style backplates and raised on gracefully tapered legs.
This diminutive desk provides adequate working surface without eating up all of the real estate in a room. It was sourced from a lovely estate in an affluent Connecticut town.
