The color changes … Read more Vintage Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen Egg Chair with ottoman. This chocolatey leather will make you salivate. The color changes depending on the light and angle, but I would describe it as 40% dark chocolate, 40% tobacco and 20% olive. This sinfully decadent amalgam of colors is matched only by the buttery smooth texture. Honestly, the early 70’s versions of this iconic chair are the most sublime. The leather upholstery was an update by the previous owner. There is a Fritz Hansen logo, made in Denmark, and number stamped on the underside of the chair base. The top stem of the chrome base bears the maker’s mark and production date.
