Lounge chair — w.h. Gispen for kembo, 1960s, metal and wool
this lounge chair was designed by w.h. Gispen for kembo in the 1960s and reflects the clean, functional aesthetics of postwar dutch modernism. The frames are made of black lacquered metal, with gently curved armrests and a floating seat structure.
the original light blue wool upholstery is in used condition — still intact, but visibly worn. The chair is an ideal candidate for reupholstery, ready to be brought back to life with care and attention.
