Born in the Tyrol Alpine region of the northeastern Italy and Austrian Alps in the late 18th / early 19th century, handcrafted in grand, awe inspiring Baroque taste.

Elaborately carved and sculpted, featuring tripartite base with figural Tyrol red and gold eagle coat of arms in scroll form, rich gesso over gilded gold wood, polychrome decorated faux rouge marble finish, sculptural silhouette with tapering squared column shaft, ornate bulbous knop and capital ornamentation, topped with a octagonal drip pan platform mounted with turned nozzle candleholder cup pricket.

This magnificent ecclesiastical antique Italian castle church altar candlestick captures the reason why we love European antiques so much. Nothing adds character to a piece like the time-worn, natural patina that only age can bring.
