This artwork, titled "Rue Ferou," 1974, is an original color lithograph on Arches watermarked paper by American artist Man Ray, 1890-1976. It is hand signed in pencil by the artist. The image size is 21 x 15.75 inches, the sheet size is 25.75 x 20 inches, framed size is 35.75 x 29.5 inches. It was published by Editions Astrid Varese, and printed by Ateliers Desjobert, Paris. Referenced and pictured in the artist's catalogue raisonnee by Luciano Anselmino, plate #111 page 74 and 75. It is beautifully custom framed in a wooden silver frame with silver color spacer. It is in excellent condition, the frame has one very small minor restoration, practically invisible.
In this artwork, the artist depicted the street where he held his atelier at 2bis Rue Ferou in paris. This location is where the artist lived and worked, where he created the many masterpieces that made him famous and known worldwide. An intimate look into Man Ray's personal world.
