Replica of the parcel gilt throne armchair (Cairo Museum) of Princess Sitamun, the daughter of Amenhotep III (18th Dynasty).
Produced by Baker for their “Far East Collection” introduced in the 1940s-50s, USA. This chair also bears an etched phrase “Radisson Plaza Hotel”.
Gilt hardwood with a strongly caned seat, scenes depicting the princess being gifted a necklace amidst much celebration. See less
