Magnificent plate, created by the artist Etienne Laget (born in 1896) and marked 'Faïence Folklorique' to identify his series of pottery with local designs, which were made specially for Laget to sell in his shop at Arles in the Camargue region of southern France. This plate was made at the Henriot pottery in Quimper, in Brittany and is initialed JH for 'Jules Henriot'. This piece has an attribution mark,
