This armchair is a cantilever because the chrome tubular frame is constructed without back legs. with the Tubax Vilvoure 1958r, the two long sled legs of the chair are raised off the ground in the middle, allowing the chair to rest on two points at the front and back of the sled. The chair's center of gravity is in the middle of the chair. This model was likely produced in the 1950s, although the design dates back to the 1930s.
We have polished the chrome tubular frame. We have also restored the black beech armrests.
We have reupholstered the seat and backrest with lemon yellow corduroy.
