Wassily Chair also known as Model B3, with rectangular seat in black leather and tubular structure in chromed steel. Produced by Gavina in 1960s and designed by Marcel Breuer in 1925. Tag present. When Gavina learned that Kandinsky had asked for the Lirst example to be destined for the living room of his apartment, they decided to produce it under the name Wassily. Marcel Lajos Breuer was a world-renowned modernist architect and designer considered one of the most important supporters of the international style. This hungarian-born architect was a product of the famous “Bauhaus” design school in Weimar, where he underwent training in the school’s furniture manufacturing workshop.
