The cast gray metal bookend is in the shape of a pair of horse heads with manes flowing in the wind. They were given a bronze patina. They are missing any felt on the base. A mark on the back of the base reads FRANKART INC PAT APPLD FOR.

MEASUREMENTS
4 7/8 in (12.4 cm) wide x 3 ¾ in (9.5 cm) deep x 5 in (12.7 cm) tall. Weighs 2 lbs 2.3 oz.

CONDITION
There are no chips, cracks, dents, or breaks. A nut and bolt is missing that partially secures one of the horse heads. The other bolt is intact and so the one head swivels a bit. There is some corrosion underneath and along the lower edges of the base. The finish has some dark spotting from age. Since the patina is quite dark, this is not very noticeable. There are small scratches on the neck of one horse, as well as minor wear along some edges where the grey metal underneath is visible. This is most prominent around the muzzle of one horse. There is no felt on the base.

A great bookend to add to a collection or use in the library. See less
