This a blue-white "qing-hua" gourd-shaped hexagonal ceramic jar from China. The shape makes it attractive and unusual. It is decorated with roses and the cover and knob look like a pumpkin.
The style in which the flower patterns are painted places it in the 20th century. It is marked Canton underneath export ware.
There are small imperfections on one side near the bottom. Besides that, it seems to be in very good condition. It measures 9 and 3/4 inches high x 6 and 3/4 inches wide.
