Offered is a hand-painted and burnished glaze vintage 1970s bud vase made in Tonalá, Jalisco Mexico, a province renowned for its earth-tone clay and for all the pottery and ceramic art created since the 1950s.
It depicts the flower native to the region done in shades of blue and with a hint of dark brown.
The vase measures approximately 3" at its widest, 3" tall, it has a flat round base that is 1.325" in diameter, and the mouth is 1.125" in diameter.
