Antique Japanese Satsuma Square Footed Pot Crackle Glaze Floral Enamel c.1900
Offered here is a beautiful antique Japanese Satsuma square footed pot, dating to around 1900. This piece features a striking yellow crackle-glaze background with finely hand-painted floral enamel decoration in vibrant blues, greens, and reds. The form stands on four small feet with a square mouth and slightly bowed walls.
Origin: Japan (late Meiji period)
Type: Satsuma ware, enamel on pottery with crackle glaze
Design: Multicolor floral decoration on a yellow ground
Size: Approx. 3.5–4" tall x 3.5" wide
Markings: Handwritten marks to the underside
