A refined example of early American Belleek artistry by the Ceramic Art Company, Trenton, New Jersey. This hand-painted mug features lush blackberries and leaves rendered in fluid natural tones against a softly glazed ground.
The molded handle and textured base convey a sculptural elegance unique to the CAC Mark 1. A study in botanical realism and Victorian craftsmanship, it harmonizes beautifully with Art Nouveau and traditional décor. A rare collectible, esteemed among American porcelain connoisseurs.
Note: MARK 1 For sale is a wonderful piece of AMERICAN BELLEEK, It was made by The Ceramic Art Company (CAC) after 1889 and before 1906. It is bottom marked with the CAC MARK 1 palette mark in green with "BELLEEK" underneath.
