A set of five Scandinavian modern Hi-Fi candlesticks in solid golden brass designed by architect Max Brüel (1927-1995) for Torben Ørskov of Copenhagen, Denmark in 1960. These sleek, minimalist candle holders of graduating size are in very good condition with small scattered scuffs/nicks, fine polishing scratches, and spots of tarnish/discoloration. Their substantial weight provides stability and each tulip-shaped top and bottom can be unscrewed from the stem. Each candlestick is marked inside the candle cup and inside the base with the TØ logo (for Ørskov & Co.) / Made in Denmark.
All five candle holders are of different heights but have the same base diameter of 3.5 in. The heights in descending order are: 10.5 in. H, 5.25 in. H, 5 in. height. x 3.5 in. H, and the smallest size measures 3.25 in. H
