It originally appeared as a fashion print in a French magazine feature on Cardin's couture collection. This print is from 1983 and NOT a modern day reproduction. Cardin's fashion was avant-garde and showcased geometric motifs; he often did not feature the femine silhouette. His works were experimental and frequently impractical. Thus he made his "mark" in fashion and had a long successful career. This image speaks for itself! It is a showstopper and it is FUN! It is full of curves and movement and flowing shapes and it has wonderful detailed interest. Done in shades of black, white, and gray tones. Makes a true statement as wall decor!
