Souvenir spoon from the Panama-California International Exposition of 1916, which was held in San Diego, California.
The top front part of the spoon features a bearded man in a hat, and a circular emblem with the text "PANAMA-CALIFORNIA-INTERNATIONAL-EXPOSITION 1916" surrounding an image of a building.
The front handle of the spoon features a seated figure with a shovel, and state flower of poppy and the text ‘San Diego 1916’
The top back of the spoon features the Great Seal of California, which includes the goddess Minerva, the word "Eureka," and the date "1850." The handle also depicts a grizzly bear, oranges, grapes, and a mission bell.
