Two Chinese porcelain auspicious rotating tianqiupings, finely formed, globe shaped, rotating vases with white glazed exteriors, interiors and inset bases, … Read more Two Chinese porcelain auspicious rotating tianqiupings, finely formed, globe shaped, rotating vases with white glazed exteriors, interiors and inset bases, set into reticulated, celadon glazed stands. The vases are decorated with nine, red and white peaches on leafy, flowering branches, all finely drawn and shaded, with a poem in black caoshu script with one red seal mark glazed to the opposite side. A red, four character, Ju Ren Tang Zhi, place mark within double squares is glazed to the inset bases. The traditional, Chinese, reticulated, hongmu stands are included, which are finely carved with centered Shou characters surrounded by clouds, all in bas-relief. Circa Republic of China era.

Ju Ren Tang Zhi: Hall of Residing Benevolence, a palace in the Zhongnanhai near the Forbidden City, Beijing, used by President Yuan Shikai, who ruled as the Hongxian Emperor for eighty days (1915 - 1916).

Inscription: "The fragrance is more fragrant and the colors are brighter, the delicate sound is melodious and flowing like a stream."
