Made by the best of the best - Meissen. Base is stark milk white, with highly contrasting pink, yellow, gold, etc. The baby's cap is a work of art in itself, as is the clothing. There are feathers on the hat, and flowers on the jacket where three-dimensional display has great effect, baby boy comes alive! Bust stands on a stylized scroll base, with gilt / gold highlights. Figure is marked on the bottom with a crossed swords, and impressed numbers (see photos). Bust is in good condition, finest quality, showing light age use wear (please see photos). Size is perfect for any table, office desk, library shelf, or a curio vitrine at 6" in height, 4.5" wide, and 4" deep. Great art or historical collection addition, and a fine display in any traditional or mid-century modern setting ! See less
