A French fruitwood and gray marble rafraîchissoir table from the late 19th century with brass accents. Functioning like a bar cart or dry bar, this occasional table offers a recessed area to the left side for chilling bottles with a marble surface to the right side for preparing one’s drink. Note that the original ice bucket has been lost. The small drawer in the apron is perfect for organizing bar tools and cocktail napkins, plus a hidden leaf in green, tooled leather that extends from the case for additional surface area when needed. Square, tapering legs on brass feet support a lower shelf for additional storage and display area, framed by decorative spandrels in the upper corners.
