Dimensions: 80 ½” H x 49” W x 6 ½” D
A massive late 19th century French oak trifold mirror, originally a fixture in a dressmaker or tailor shop, soon to be an indispensable part of a well-appointed dressing room for the modern interior. When closed, the heavy oak doors appear to be an architectural feature as if concealing another room or cabinet on the other side. Unfolding the overlying doors reveals the mirrored interior allowing the viewer to observe their outfit from nearly every perspective. Designed to hang from a French cleat on the back for safety. Note that there is some foxing, areas of loss to the left door otherwise the reflection is remarkably clear. Please view the detailed images to see the current condition.
