This work, titled Duck Hunter, portrays a lone figure wading through marshland as ducks rise from the water — a classic Benson composition combining dynamic movement with atmospheric stillness.

Signed Frank W. Benson in pencil lower left. Verso bears a period Kennedy & Co. Rare Prints, New York label identifying it as an “Original Drypoint by Frank W. Benson.” This confirms it as an authentic lifetime impression, not a later restrike.
