Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown Sommerso gold flecks Italian art glass decorative vanity perfume or atomizer bottle. Published design, and documented to designer Archimede Seguso, circa 1950s. The piece has an original red scalloped "Made In Italy - Murano" label still attached underneath. The bottle is profusely covered in heavy gold leaf, with a ribbed pattern throughout. It glitters in any light. As you can see, the top part where the perfume or atomizer mechanism would be is gone, it only has the bottom part with a brass or gold color. Maybe the top part is something one can get, i am not sure. I am selling it here just as a decorative piece. Since it has an opening at the top, it could be used as a bud flower vase. Mid Century era. Nice piece for any dresser, vanity or side table. Measures 3 3/4" tall x 3 1/4" wide.
