Chinese porcelain butterfly yaolingzun. A finely formed, mallet shape vase with a bean glazed exterior and a white glazed interior and inset base. The top rim is accented with a gold band, the neck and body of the vase is decorated with finelt drawn and detailed polychrome butterflies. The body ends in a sloping, slightly concave foot with a narrow unglazed lower rim accented with thin ringlets. A blue, six character, Qianlong, reign mark in Zhuanshu script is glazed to the inset base. The finely carved, Chinese traditional, hongmu circular stand is included. Circa Republic of China era.
