Originally introduced in 1983, the Roman Antique collection became a groundbreaking design in dinnerware, combining thick glass with a platinum-rimmed edge, all while being dishwasher safe. This collection quickly became iconic and is now sold at luxury retailers like Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdale's, as well as at top hotels and restaurants such as the Bellagio and Ritz Carlton.
Created by glass artist Annie Morhauser, the Roman Antique collection reflects her passion for glass, which began over 30 years ago. Her innovative approach to glass forming, particularly her technique of slumping, continues to define Annieglass as a leader in high-quality, functional art.
This is a rare, oversized piece that is no longer available from Annieglass. Signed on the underside "C 1985 Annieglass 1999-2USAS."
