Set an expansive and breathtaking formal table with this massive 88-piece vintage silverplated flatware service in the celebrated "Modern Baroque" pattern by Oneida Community Silversmiths.

Originally produced from 1969 to 1986, this classic discontinued line perfectly marries traditional Baroque Revival ornamentation with elegant, fluid mid-century lines. Each piece features heavily sculpted asymmetric scrollwork borders and swirling floral accents along the handles.

This comprehensive, grand-scale service is crafted from premium American silverplate (free of gold accents). It comes beautifully housed in its original, felt-lined solid wooden storage chest featuring a convenient pull-out bottom storage drawer and brass-finished handles.

The set is in excellent vintage condition with a brilliant mirror luster throughout. The pieces show very minimal signs of occasional historical use with light surface polishing swirls. A few individual pieces display a natural, colorful rainbow tarnish patina from long-term storage, which easily polishes clean if a uniform bright look is preferred. The wooden chest is structurally sound, with minor cosmetic scuffs on the exterior, appropriate for its age.
