They are paired with multi-colored, tufted cushions in a sturdy fabric featuring rich colors of marigold, teal, purple, violet pink, and olive. These cushions attach with ties at each corner and are original to the stools. The print is reminiscent of a 1960s ikat or paisley pattern, featuring a large-scale, kaleidoscopic repeat. There is no maker's mark; we estimate them to be 1960s or 1970s. See less

One cushion has some color bleeding and color fading along one edge around the green/teal area, which is probably from spot cleaning. That same cushion also has a faint, thin ballpoint pen mark in the orange/marigold part of the cushion. The last three images show these flaws and discoloration. less
