The sculpture depicts a nude female figure resting on a leaf. Can be displayed on it's own or on the brass stand.

About the artist and his work
Life: Born in Pretoria, South Africa, Schoeman studied at the Johannesburg School of Art, the Rawnsley Academy in London, and the Academy in Rome. By the late 1970s, he had moved to Santa Barbara, California.
Particle-bound casting: Schoeman developed and patented an unusual artistic method called "particle-bound casting," which allowed for exceptional detail and smooth forms in his work. He also produced "cold cast bronze" pieces, which are made from a resin mixed with powdered bronze, rather than solid bronze.
Prominent subjects: His sculptures vary in subject matter, from figurative pieces of women and couples to abstract and brutalist wall decor. See less
