Limited edition of 125 copies, provided with certificate of authenticity of the gallery and photocopy of the proof of the publisher's print run.

Very good condition, damaged lower corners and slight foxing on the edge of the lower margin

This engraving is part of "Album Fenaille" or "Album Goupil", a book devoted to the drawings of Auguste Rodin, published in 1897. It features a majority of drawings related to
Dante's Inferno, generally referred to as "Black Drawings".
A copy of this precious album can be found in the archives of the Musée Rodin. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
