TERRIFIC ANTIQUE REDWARE CAKE OR PUDDING MOLD EARLY 19TH CENTURY
DIMENSIONS About 2 3/4" high x 8" diameter.
DESCRIPTION Beautiful rare redware bundt cake / pudding mold with manganese splotch glaze. Probably Pennsylvania origin. Also known as a "turk's head" mold. Spiral central tube. Black manganese decorations around the lobed rim.
CONDITION Overall excellent. No cracks. Several tiny rim chips (all visible in the images). A RARE AND UNUSUAL EARLY 19TH CENTURY GLAZED AND DECORATED REDWARE MOLD.
