This set of three vintage mid century modern bent plywood armchairs designed by Joe Atkinson for Thonet are circa 1950. This unique set of chairs features distinctive wooden frames crafted from bent plywood with upholstered floating seat and backrest. More recent premium wool felt reupholstery in a beautiful shade of brown is in excellent condition. The chairs are flexible in utility and structurally sturdy. From the collection of Sam Botero and Emery Von Sztankoczy.
