The glass contains manganese, which has transformed into a rich amethyst hue due to later irradiation exposure. The piece displays authentic age and character with some internal cloudiness and a small flea bite on the rim. Embossed lettering reads “WEEKS’ SNOW FLAKE BLUE” across the body. A genuine example of early domestic packaging that bridges the worlds of industrial glassmaking and Victorian homemaking. See less
