Large wood and brass desk by Vittorio Dassi, Italy, 1950s
Large Mid-Century Wood and Brass desk by Vittorio Dassi, Italy, 1950s
The rare desk is characterized by its extremely elegant design and the double glass shelf, one transparent in color and very thick acts as a suspended support surface, the other thinner black in direct contact with the wood of the desk. Vittorio Dassi therefore creates a work of great charm, refinement, capable of standing out and characterizing the place that hosts it This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
