Elegant carved wooden frame, covered with a red plate and remnants of original gilding, typical of the refined Rococo style of the mid-18th century. The soft scrolls and asymmetrical ornaments perfectly illustrate the light and moving aesthetic of the reign of Louis XV. Beautiful old patina, with period wear that gives it all its charm and authenticity.
