Wooden display box from Dr. Scholl's. It has the original decal on the front identifying it as the "Pedo-Graph", the Silent Foot Analyst. Manufactured by Scholl Manufacturing, Inc., and dated May 8th, 1917. The intent of the ‘machine’ was to both measure feet and also identify weak areas.
It’s an unusual piece, but missing the paper / ink in case you want to actually use it !
