The exhibition poster is published by The Palm Springs Desert Museum California 94102, printed in France by Arte Paris in 1977 in an unnumbered limited edition on the occasion of the exhibition. It features a Mid Century Modern artwork image created by the artist Karel Appel.

Karel Appel ( 1921 - 2006 ) the Dutch painter, sculptor, and poet began painting at the age of fourteen, and studied at the world famous Rijksakademie in Amsterdam in the 1940's. He was one of the founders of the Avant-Garde movement Cobra in the 1940's. He is considered to be one of the most important Modernist Avant-Garde artists of The Twentieth Century. Artworks by Appel are included in the collections of many prestigious museums worldwide.

The rare out of print framed lithograph print exhibition poster measures 21 1/8" W X 32 3/4" H X 1 1/8" D.

it is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern recessed beveled detail matte eggshell finish black wood frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.

It is in excellent " like new " condition. The poster print is in excellent " like new " very clean vintage condition consistent with age, very light signs of handling, and very light minor wear. it is brand newly custom framed and has never been displayed.
