Charming vintage Italian majolica crab-form lidded box, featuring a finely sculpted shell and claws with a tactile speckled glaze and subtle gold accents. The crab opens to reveal a hollow interior, ideal for trinkets or as a decorative coastal accent. Marked underside with impressed “A 7”, consistent with mid-20th century Italian studio ceramics.
Box measures 6" in height and about 3" in width and depth.
