This porcelain blue and white bough pot vase depicts scenes with scholars possibly at an outdoor desk. It is cylindrical form with stylized neck and border at the foot. The Chinese characters underneath read "Made in China,", in both Chinese and English -- and his came into use after 1919. The vase is 20th century.
It is 10 3/4 inches high by 6 1/4 inches wide and came from a Northern California estate sale. Beautiful.
