We are selling this beautiful pair of French candlesticks in Neo-Classical style. These candlesticks date from 1820-1832 and have Neo-Classical design. The candlesticks were originally silverplated but that has been nearly completely removed to show the copper body. The bases of the candlesticks have French silverplate quality mark and also are marked Plaque Veyrat the mark of French maker Jean-Francois Veyrat, Paris 1815-1840. He only worked on copper bodies from 1820-1832.
Condition: Silverplate surface is pretty much entirely gone revealing the copper body.
