Mid Century nightstand made by Heywood Wakefield as part of their sought after Encore series, circa 1955/56.
The night table features an asymmetrical case, having a drop front which opens to reveal storage space with an interior drawer. Beneath the drop front is additional open storage space. The case is mounted on tapering splayed legs.
This example is in good original condition, showing only minor cosmetic flaws, specifically a bruise at the back corner of the top, and general wear to the finish, please see images.
