Lovely pair of beechwood bergere's in the simple and classic Louis XVI taste, dressed in a petite stitched needlepoint fabric that has light beige tones similar to an Aubusson rug. Ample and comfortable size and scale here, the pair of chairs with enrich and warm any interior in which they are employed. Fantastic carved wood details on the frames and overall good condition. Seat cushions recently custom redone in down wrapped foam for a very comfortable feel. Some wear and tears to seat cushion stitching areas.
The chairs are a very close "near' pair and have an almost Male and Female size difference. Different hand carved details on and around the armrest.
