Store Item: Set of 6 Fan Back Windsor Chairs Bench Made by Stephen Adams Denmark, Maine
Description: Set includes 2 Large Fan Back Arm Chairs and 4 Fan Back side chairs with brace backs. Made mostly out of Maple, shaped rail with carved mouse ears, hand made spindles, saddle seat resting on vase shaped legs with stretcher. Arm feature an arm rail with carved knuckle arms. The side chairs have a brace back. Chairs are very solid and sturdy, great set. Bench Made by Maine craftsman, Stephen Adams, who a premier casemaker in the Denmark Maine, known for fine handcrafted furniture using 18th century techniques.
