A striking 10" hand-blown art glass vase with a rich oil-slick iridescence—emerald green shifting to amethyst—wrapped in cascading white pulled-feather … Read more A striking 10" hand-blown art glass vase with a rich oil-slick iridescence—emerald green shifting to amethyst—wrapped in cascading white pulled-feather canes that drape like scallops around the body. The baluster silhouette flares gently to a tight mouth, and the pattern meets crisply at the “seam,” a nice tell of hand-worked cane pulling. Beautiful glow in natural light; glam sparkle under lamps.

Unmarked; consistent with Mt. St. Helens / Pacific Northwest studio work from the late 20th century (think 1980s–1990s souvenir-to-studio era when makers used iridescent finishes and bold cane patterns). A statement piece for MCM, Hollywood Regency, Maximalist, and Contemporary spaces.
