I purchased this original wall tapestry directly from James Koehler in an art festival in Albuquerque NM in 1990 and we became good friends. I love this work of art for its brilliant bold colors and simple geometric forms.
I was very sad when I heard that he had died in March of 2011.
James was a Master weaver in Northern New Mexico and loved teaching others his techniques, his work has been shown in the Denver museum, and collected by many lovers of his beautiful and unique art.

It was the first one of an edition of 8, signed and dated 1990.
I am sad to sell it but I am retiring and will not have a proper place to give it the home it deserves as I will be mostly traveling.
