Its dynamic, truncated cylinder … Read more Made of curved plywood, this 1980s armchair is the brainchild of Finnish interior designer Jouko Järvisalo. Its dynamic, truncated cylinder shape is unconventional and offers an enveloping, intimate feel. Its comfortable design is in keeping with the formal radicalism of 1980s designs, evoking the lines of the Memphis movement. The seat is upholstered in a geometrically patterned fabric, in harmony with the black tone of the wood and the original black metal base. Original and remarkable, the Mondi soft chair will be perfect as a reception chair in an entryway, an eclectic living room, a boudoir, or a bedroom.

The armchair is made of a sheet of black lacquered curved plywood, a black metal base, and a fabric backrest with a geometric pattern in dark purple tones. The seat is firm and in good condition. Some signs of wear can be noted on the wooden parts and the base. The incredible design dates back to the 1980s; the chair is perfectly functional.

55 to 62.5 cm wide, 44 to 70 cm deep, 43 cm seat height, and 75.5 cm total height.
