A highly desirable antique French Sarreguemines "Canards" Pitcher from circa 1880s-1900. Maker's stamp on the bottom. This charming French pitcher features a blue and white "Canards" duck motif, considered to be a rare decor. The lovely delicate shape is also trimmed with various foliate, ferns and scrolls. Although originally part of a washbasin set this antique pitcher would look stunning displaying flowers or simply in a collection.
